Ingredients

  • 1 c butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1 T water
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 c sifted flour
  • ½ c chopped salted peanuts
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the water and vanilla and mix well.

  2. Mix in the flour, and then the peanuts.

  3. Shape the dough into crescents and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  4. Bake at 350 for 15 – 20 min.

  5. Roll in powdered sugar and cool. Makes 4 dozen.
