Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • slightly beaten
  • 1 c light or dark corn syrup
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 T butter
  • melted
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1/1/2 c pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended.

  2. Stir in pecans.

  3. Pour into pastry shell.

  4. Bake at 350 for 50 – 55 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

  5. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with whipped cream.
